Welcome to the Work of Michael Gannon Photographer.
My imagery focuses on finding beauty and artistic expression in the subjects I photograph. I use natural light as far as possible in my work and see the true colours that I capture as an important element in the images I create. Relying on simplicity of technique rather than gadgetry, my concern is to draw out the qualities of the subject matter with the eye of an artist.
My Studio and Gallery is situated on Bridge Street, Westport, Co.Mayo on the west coast of Ireland.
In my gallery I sell framed and unframed fine art/creative art, landscape and documentary photographs and a number of limited edition collections. Handmade cards of my landscapes, flowers, toys and images of derelict Ireland are also available to buy.
I also have on sale a small selection of work by Betty Gannon visual artist.
